The United Kingdom (UK) ceased to be a member of the European Union on 31.01.2020. From 01.01.2021, only shipments that arrive accompanied by complete customs information are processed. The Republic of Ireland remains a member of the EU and Northern Ireland remains in the customs union as it is today. For orders for both parts of Ireland, no customs formalities will be required.

For many years, GLS has been a trusted partner for customers to deliver their shipments to GLS in Europe and worldwide. This is because GLS customers rely on existing and proven processes for continuous imports and exports, including deliveries that require customs clearance. GLS offers its customers extensive support for their orders to the UK from 2021. With GLS, your exports to the UK are always in good hands!
