Our transport partners and their distributors cover the whole country and are our image to the public. They therefore play a central role in the GLS network.
Day after day, they ensure that all orders arrive safely and reliably to their recipients.
GLS Portugal is committed to a sustainable cooperation of high quality transport services. That is why we have maintained many of our transport partners for several years.
A partnership based on trust
Together we are stronger: in order to ensure successful and long-term cooperation, GLS Portugal is in continuous dialogue with its transport partners. Everything is said to each other about the structure of cooperation. This is how we optimize processes and exchange information about possible improvements, as well as previous successes.
Invest in delivery processes
GLS is continually committed to optimizing delivery processes and procedures – with various measures and a total of well over 50 million euros across the Group in recent years. This includes investments in equipment, for example: special tools that facilitate the work done by transport partners and their delivery drivers.
With new depots, expansion and modernization of the existing depots at GLS, we are constantly strengthening the network and shortening transport routes. GLS also invests in training, communication and new services and solutions such as FlexDeliveryService.
Become a transport partner
GLS is constantly looking for independent transport companies in Portugal (Continental and Islands). If you have your own vehicle fleet, contact us, as your company may be in charge of delivering/collecting all shipments from a certain postal area.
